This painting was part of the “Tribute to the Villains of Animation” gallery show at Van Eaton Galleries. I chose to picture some of the classic monsters from vintage Looney Toons shorts of the 50’s and 60’s: “Count Blood Count” from the 1963 short “Transylvania 6-5000”, “Witch Hazel” from the 1954 short “Bewitched Bunny”, “Mr. Hyde” from the 1954 short “Hyde and Hare”.
